More help needed. quest 2 'My Locations'

Apologies for seeking help on so many simple tasks, but I am not to good with this technology.

I am having trouble with disappearing 'my locations'.

I can save a location, edit it, give it a category etc etc, however when I then go into 'my locations' to find it again it is missing. If I load the location again and give it the same name the pop up screen tells me I already have the location saved.

The question is, where is this saved as I cannot retrieve it?

Help, I am filling up memory but cannot retrieve the details even if I wanted to delete it!!!

Could be this;

When you go into "My Locations" check that it's not set to "Find Near Me" and is "Find By Name".

"Find Near Me" will only show waypoints within a certain distance.

If that is the case, to change it from "Find Near Me" to "Find By Name"................read the manual

Just kidding. If it is, in that screen, press menu and then select "Find By Name"

"Find Near Me" will only show waypoints within a certain distance.

Jon hit the nail right on the head. I think that 'certain distance' he referred to is either 200 miles or 200 km straight line distance, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
