Hi, my bike has been restricted.r850r.i am not sure if it's behind the fuel injectors or a throttle restrictor,I think it's the first. Any one have any ideas where they usually put them and I guess is it easy enough to remove? Thanks a million.diagrams welcomed!

On carb'ed bikes they usually put big washers in the inlet manifold to restrict the air flow. But given yours is a FI bike. I wonder if they have somehow changed the fuel and ignition map. What colour coding plug or which pins have been bridged in the fusebox to denote the map in use?

F1 international did restrictors for the R850. I think they used "a device is attached to the side of the injection bodies which stops the throttle cam from opening fully.
This is normally combined with restriction blades that go into the
air box or sometimes the inlet manifolds."

Other bikes do use a box with leads that are put in line with the ecu.

Thanks you the replys . I was hoping it was going to be simple.i will have a look in the fuse box and see what I can see.maybe just yank out some bright coloured wires and c.
