Moroccan Horizons 2008

Hello all!

As some of you know, following the Explore Horizons Spirit, and after Balkan Horizons 2007, I'm planning to beging another trip: Moroccan Horizons 2008.



We are planing to leave Oporto on 27th February and arrive on 2th March.
The plan is the following:

27th February
Oporto - Algeciras
28th February
Algeciras - Fés
29th February
Fés - Chechouene
1st March
Chechouene - Algeciras
2nd March
Alfeciras - Oporto

As usual, we are planning to stay at camping parks, and on total autonomy.
With us we take water, canned food, energetic cereal bars, bread, and coffe.

Here is the plan, with dailly destinations, distances, planned costs, routes, etc:



We are in need of advices of locals to stay durring the night (camping mostly)... anyone?

We hope to bring you as many photos as possible to report our ride!

Azrou - Meknés (offroad)
Meknés - Tanger
Tanger - Tarifa (FerryBoat)
2nd March
Tarifa - Oporto

Just finished to intall moroccan maps at Garmin GPS and made the dailly tracks.
Everything under control... just waiting for the final 20 days to pass

Hello all.

My friend, João Vaz, can not join me going to Morocco next week (professional reasons).
At this moment I am alone!
Someone to come?

PS: Alone I won't go to Morocco... obviously.

I take it this is unconnected to the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Morocco or are you staying around for it?
