If anyone fancies it....Setting off around the 26th March 2010, returning around the 12th April. More camping than anything else with a few nights in cheap hotels maybe. Want to get at least 10 days under the belt around the Atlas and Sahara, mainly off road.

Haven't got any routes planned as yet, but let me know who's interested and we can get a small group together and start planning some rough routes....

BIMBLE???? :eek::eek:

Would be interested in this

Been thinking of the circle from Gibralter through N Africa and back through Italy.

But you have obviously done this before.

I need to see how good you all are off road, I am no god like Pipster or Earthmover.

Cheers Malc. Not done this before, and am definately no 'off road God'. But saving the big loop of North Africa for 2011 taking in Turkey, Sirya, Jordan, Egypt, Libya (if still open to us!) Tunisia, Italy, home. The Morocco bimble in March is a warm up exercise really....

The main problem arriving in Morocco and looking to get to Tunisia and the boat to Italy, is that you have to cross Algeria which is a NO GO ZONE!! Especially if you're from the west and want to keep you head intact :rob

Thanks a nest Phil

Thought you were going to post that one of me in the electric wheelchair in Sweden or the one of that tractor passing me in Latvia.

Anyway, back on topic....

I'm just keeping an eye on Stef's thread in open invites to see how that pans out before deciding whether to do my own thing or not.

I don't want to go in a huge group to be honest, would prefer to keep numbers to around 5 ideally, that's why I put this thread in the NW section only.
