OK folks it's time for the piss taking to start. So now for the truth about my Morocco injuries.

As some of you know I injured myself while riding the dunes at Erg Chebbi. I fell from the bike when riding down a dune, picked myself up, spat out the sand and carried on regardless.

When I returned to the Desert Inn I thought something wasn't right so a visit to the local hospital was called for. I can say that I was treated very well by the hospital staff and a swift x-ray was achieved. The local doctor thought that they didn't have the expertise to assist me so I was sent to Ouarzazate to see an Orthopedic surgeon who told me that if this were France or the UK I would probably have surgery to fit a plate to fix the break. But he strapped me up and told me to rest for a few days

I can confirm that I rode my bike back through part of Morocco and the whole of Spain with my shoulder like this.

At no time was I ever in any pain or discomfort though :)

The Motorrail journey back may have been nice though Tim. :D

As a result of a recent visit to the fracture clinic at my local hospital, the doc. says everything is healing just fine. I have full movement of the arm and shoulder again. I think that it's very strange that at no time have I ever felt any pain!

What the hell else is on the X-Ray!?? It looks like a double exposure with some clouds and lens flare leaking in, did they do the X-rays outside? :D

oss-tee-or par-o-says setting in there Roy.

Wheres all the picture of the trip and write ups, form some of the par-tiss-a-pants.

Or did you just lose them !!!!!

Probably not your X-ray! There's some Moroccan goat herder out there who's in agony with a busted shoulder and he can't get a sick note because his x-ray looks fine :D

Aproximate babelfish translation:-

EXAMINATION: If thou examinest a man having a break in his collar-bone (and) thou shouldst find his collar-bone short
and separated from its fellow.

DIAGNOSIS : Thou shouldst say concerning him : "One having a break in his collar-bone. An ailment which I will treat."

TREATMENT : Thou shouldst place him prostrate on back, with something folded between his two shoulder-blades; thou
shouldst spread out with his two shoulders in order to stretch apart his collar-bone until that break falls into
its place. Thou shouldst make for him two splints of linen, (and) thou shouldst apply one of them both on the
inside of his upper arm. Thou shouldst bind it with ymrw (sic ??) , (and) treat it afterward with honey every day,
........until he recovers.
