I wish.. but I've just booked 3-weeks in October. :bounce1
If you've never ridden the Cedar Forests south of Azrou, you're going to love it.
I'm very interested in where they get their map from.. it looks a lot more detailed than the Michelin Morocco one. Please let me know if you find out.

Guys, not sure how you PM on this forum, my email address is jeffwkirby@[email protected]

Name is....you've guessed it... Jeff Kirby

Can't remember what I entered as but am reasonably competitive, but not out to win at all costs, but do...not....want to come last!

Sorry, cannot be a Tosser....please choose another one :)

Hi guys I've spoken to Neavey on the Hubb and sounds great so far. I'm also a Humm virgin and would be great to join up in Santander and a few days after the humm.

Hi Drewafrica,

If I add you to the team we have a potential 4 members, the rules state max of 5. Of course we can always split into multiple teams later if anyone else is interested but looking good so far.

And there was me trying to come up with something sensible! :-)

Ha ha, it was supposed to be a twist on 2 girls one cup, but now we have a 4th man I bet Andrew is neither a Tossers nor a twin? Happy to consider a new team name, Stranger Danger might be appropriate seeing as we don't dont know each other!?

Hi Guys, hope you had a great new year etc.. I have paid my registration and am uber excited about the HUMM, I will update my registration to add bazzer66, drewafrica and jeffk to my team. There is a while yet so no doubt things can be changed if required.

There is plenty of room of anyone else wants to join in the fun, it is going to be a blast.

And we still need a team name, anything considered as long as it does not contain the word 'Tosser', :-)

Oh, and I have also registered for the Taffy Dakar (taffydakar.org.uk) if anyone is interested. It is the week before departing for the HUMM so I am looking at it as Shake down for the actual event.

Cheers,

Hey Patrick/Jeff
With the New Year well and truly behind us we need to get going with our planning - and Team name! I'm paid up for HUMM and ferry booked so need to start on the finer detail on getting there and afterwards and how much of the post event tour we may want to join so that Hana can give us a rough cost. I stay in Bristol during the working week so happy to meet over a beer or coffee in Fowlers sometime in Feb ?
Cheers

Hey guys, I spotted this event on the HUMM website the other week but completely missed this thread. REALLY tempted, sounds amazing, like some of you mentioned, I really want to get Morrocco finally under my belt. Can I ask if you guys still have space within your group and aside from the cost of the event, what does your budget look like for getting there and back, accommodation and ferry costs etc.
Cheers
Pete

Hi guys

I'm all registered and looking forward to the humm.

It sounds like we have the 5 members of the team, so now we just need a team name and start some planing and where and when we're going to meet for the Hubb and possibly a few days in Morocco after the Hubb.

Cheers
Andrew

I've just registered, really keen to get stuck in. I think i would prefer to ride down from Calais, 24 hours on a boat doesn't really do it for me, I just like to ride and used to it going back and forth from Italy many times when I lived out there. Is there scope to link in with you guys when you get off in Santander and then ride south together from there? I'll probably do the same coming back. If there is still space on your team, I would be grateful to join and if you are thinking of meeting up beforehand, give me a shout, I'm based near Andover. Email address norfolksoldier@[email protected]@m.
Cheers,
Pete

Hi GSTraveller,

You will be the 5th member of the team so I am more than happy to have you along. We haven't met up yet so there are no plans at the moment and you haven't missed anything, I think 3 of us are going down to Santander via ferry but drewafrica is in Holland and I guess riding down all the way.

We could all meet up in North Spain somewhere on Saturday 9 May (the ferry gets in about 18:00).

Hello Guys,

I just checked and Fowlers cafe shuts at 4pm during the week, which means I could only make a Friday as I work out of Bristol. Alternatively, just up the road is Cafe Grounded in Bedminster which is open later.

For those that are not near Bristol would you be happy if we roughed out a plan and then circulated it to the group for comments/suggestions. Once we get a basic idea perhaps we can meet up somewhere more central to everyone.

Cheers,

Neavey

Thanks Neavey, thats great, can start putting the plan into action now (better book the time off work!). I think I will definitely ride south from Calais as I know a few decent places to pitch up. Meeting up in northern Spain sounds like a good plan. Maybe I could link in with Drewafrica on his way down from Holland?? I am good to meet up anytime, happy to travel down to Bristol or wherever really.

What's the plan after it finishes? The wife is looking to fly into Fez afterwards and jump on the back for the tour northwards home but we want to hang out in Morocco for a bit but this has all been decided today (and not really by me either!) but anyway, looks like I will have a busy 3 weeks in May.

Cheers,

Pete
