Good spot Mark, yep I knocked it off last year and have only just got around to buying a new bolt, it'll be fitted in time to illuminate my way to Moroc!

Evening Gents,
I'm finally packed. I can't believe its that time already. I have started my thread and I hope to update it regularly. (link).
I will be on French soil tomorrow lunchtime, looking forward to having a beer in Palencia. (I know mark, first rounds on me!). Hope everything gets away in good order (Mark, hows the bike?) and Andrew makes it back in time. Fingers crossed.

Good luck Pete - I hope to be there for that free beer in Palencia! Bike needs a new final drive shaft (so a bit cheaper than at first thought?!), its still in the workshop today (argh!) but hoping to collect today or Tue next week - although its looking like I wont be able to make the Touratech Travel Event this weekend.

Due to unforeseen circumstances DrewAfrica won't be with us for the HUMM. Which means we have a space available if you are still up for it Dubster.

Yes we are planning to cross early in the morning on the 15th then drive up to Ifrane. If you are planning on doing the Humm then you will need to get across earlier.

Are your plans to overnight in Chefchaouen or go diectly to Ifrane from Tanger?

We planned to go straight there, I went to Chefchaouen some time ago and was not that impressed. What are your plans?

Yes it would be good if we could meet up, I will plan a route for my sat nav, where are you staying in Ifrane? Our hotel looks OK and was only around £23 a night.

£23 sounds good to me, presumably parking provided? Let me know once your route is planned, I'm guessing you'll be passing Chaouen anyway so I can wait for you roadside. I hear the R419 is a good road

You will have to tell me a point to meet you, I can tighten up details once I know what ferry we are on to Tange.
