Anyone interested?

Just a very loose idea at the moment, but did my 1st trip last October and am keen to do it again.

Flexible on dates and routes but would like to get back into the Atlas if poss.

Cheers

Millard

Maybe, depending on date.

Offroad or all tarmac?

Mostly tarmac like I did before, with a few gentle pistes. But no soft desert sand this time, nothing heavy duty. Again though I'm open to suggestions.

Date? dunno, I'm easy, def autumn though after the summer heat's gone and before the winter makes the mountains too bluddy cold.

Cheers BM for the link :thumb2
I'm planning on riding down to my brother's place in Andalucia for a coupla days on the way, from Santander. Then stop off again on the way back, so I'll be taking the 1100.
I'm sure he'd be delighted to have a few hairy assed companions from the motherland drop in with me though :)

I met up with Millard today and he mentioned the possibility of another trip to Morocco, possibly in the spring or autumn next year.

I am going to start to give this some serious thoughts.

Anyone who has been to Gasthous Lindenhoff in Nurburg will know Renate.

Now the last time I spoke to her she and her husband had just bought a place in Morocco, need to find out where, and suggested we could stay there.

I'll start doing some digging...

As you've likely guessed I had to forgo the Autumn trip, but as Steve says I'm very interested in going in Spring.
Any body else interested?
Timing is flexible for me.
The stopover in Andalusia is off too as my brother has no moved to the states, so it'd be a Santander ferry then down through Spain as my preferred route.

Hey Pablo, an odd name for a Weegie eh? mind you, so is mine and I'm from Maryhill :D :flag:flag:flag

No definitely not camping. There are loads of much more informative posts on the subject, in the Morocco section, from folk who've been far more times than me. But basically hotels are so cheap that lugging all the camping gear is just not worth the bother.
Keep an eye out here and we'll see how it goes.

Went for the first time this September/October. I'm close enough to meet for a pint and talk about it if it would help. Like Pablo, whose seat I was sitting on, just retired and it was my the first big trip of what I hope will be a series over the next few years.

Might be interested in joining in this jaunt.
Unfortunately I still have to work for a living so can't go for a whole month :blagblah
Not interested in going off road (read not capable :augie)
Happy to camp if someone wants to, as it keeps my costs down and work doesn't pay me enough :(

Odd names.....well can't really comment on that :D

As there is several of us living within a 50 ml radius, what's the chance of a meet up and chin wag sometime in the future.

After reading my post again,i did not mean to exclude or ignore Gsers who live further away, but all will be welcome:D

Might be an idea for everyone who's interested to say where they live, then we can decide where's convenient to meet up?

I'm in Bournemouth
