Im'e back and i withdraw my comment about riding in the snow!
Looking out the window the dingy one horse town called ALBERT/France
Covered in snow, makes interesting riding on road tyre's,& on my way back
had the lot thrown at me, snow/sleet/hail/rain&gale force wind's and a fall off me bike :D
But i was sat on the bike at the ferry port, on the side stand,& a gust of wind blew me over, what a prat i was, good job i had my helmet on to hide my embarrassment :mad:

Well at least we'll have no snow in Maroc,,,,,,,,,,,,IF we got the timing right :D

I would think its more realistic to aim to be there for about 11?

Where is Debenshire??

11am good for me (more chance of the frost/ice disappearing :augie) and will be ready for breakfast by then :ChrisKelly

Debenshire is that blackspot that nothing gets in or out of :aidan

You are not getting out of being trip leader that easy, ha ha :D:D

Tour Dad is the correct terminology. :D

Every trip must have a tour dad, and it's one of the most important things when in a group. .
Someone who looks after the kitty/whip and pays when the group stops for tea, translates any languages, makes the final decision if there's a difference of opinion, sends everyone to bed when they're still in the bar at 3am etc etc :D

Wapping is a fully qualified tour dad and Jeremy has also earnt his stripes.

Been planning to go to Morocco next year, so this looks interesting, if I am not mistaken the plan is to do this for easter. If that's so, I was wondering should I change the plans to go to balkans and head south instead. The things is I only have two weeks, or more precisely 17 days, as I was planning to take junior (16y) with me, and need to get back for school. The question is, how suitable will the trip be for him?

Begra, why dont you both come along next week and have a yap,
even we dont know what's going on yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be good, but I'll be somewhere in Belgium, going to Germany at the time you will be munching the Ace cafe food. :D

Just ring the Ace cafe and ask to speak to the four old gits sitting in the corner mumbling about GS's whilst trying to eat a bacon sandwich. :thumb

That should narrow it down a bit :augie
