Taking a trip next week for about a week, Marrakesh is a must, i know Casablanca so i will give that a miss, road riding but i would like to get off the motorways a bit.
Bike is 1200GSA
I understand the Med port is a lot less hassle, hopefully none of the spivvs you get at Tangiers.
I read all Tim's info and downloaded the forms.
I am in Fuengirola at the moment.
Anyone heading to Morocco?

I am in Granada on my way home , just had seven days in Morocco. T med is so easy spent most of the seven days Around Ouazazate and zagora and south east of that in the sand, some nice roads down that way just watch the oil and on coming vehicles around bends !! .I downloaded the topo maps and tim,s hotels and work well .Keep to the speed limits into and out of towns as lots of Police spot checks but most will just wave you through .
Weather was excellent lowest morning temp 5c and 23c warmest m have fun

Try to avoid too much tarmac bashing. Chefchaouen is a pleasent place for a first night, pretty medina and there's some tracks off to the right of the camp site above town.

Azrou is another favourite with a host of offroad tracks in the area, also a beautiful minor road route via Ain Leuh and Sources Oum er Rbia to Khenifra through the cedar forest.

Should be off to Morocco in the morning.
I was planning to wellie down to Zagora
and see the Sahara - visit Fez and Marakesh on the way back.
How does this sound?
