Welcome to the site by the way .................

Is It an SP3

Your mapping is not from Garmin for Morocco .

There's a link , check the search button for topo morocco .

I'm sure someone will put you right shortly :bounce1

Good evening Tim

I tried your link early and it lock the mapsource, then through out an alarm each time I used mapsource afterwards.

I'll give it another shot, if everything works should I get the roads as far as Quarzazate. Because looking at a sticky by Whatton it shows a clear outline of Morocco and I would guest the road network as well.

Most explain need roads because my mate will be on a VFR.

Regards

Phil

PS Thanks Sir James for your welcome!

Downloaded the Marokko Topo file onto my PC. Mapsource doesn't want to open the .zip file.

What am I doing wrong?

No, it won't.........you have to follow the instructions on Olaf's site to install them.

TBH, you might be better off downloading the executable version rather than the zip file if you don't know what you're doing...then just double click it and it'll install itself nice and easy....then go back to Mapsource and you'll find that Marokko Topo is listed under the mapping tab :)

Yes, that worked. I'll take a bit to get my teeth into it then I know a may need some more advice.

Thanks

NP :)

In particular, play around with the zoom and so on...the tracks can become confused with the contour lines on some units and it's a good idea to have a play with your settings to make them as obvious as possible.
