I've just received a copy of Morocco Overland fresh from the press. It's due for release at the end of this month at £15.99 but it looks like you can get it now via the Morocco Overland website.

The first 100pp cover preparation-type matters and general information. The remaining 170pp have maps and detailed descriptions of 49 routes. It looks like they have all been recently ridden/driven/checked, so the information is as up-to-date as you will find in the printed media.

Had my copy thru the post from Amazon this morning. My good lady wife had ordered it advance as part me birthday present (though it turned up three months after my birthday!). Looking forward to reading it.:thumb2

I pre-ordered a signed copy but will have to wait until the end of the month as Chris is away until then. I'm presently doing logistics for a group heading to Morocco and the information will be invaluable for my planning. The biggest problem with any planning is out-dated or incorrect information.

I've been reading more and have nearly finished the book. I'm really impressed with the preparation chapters, especially as they cover cycling which I'm thinking of doing on a future trip. The only downside so far is that the pistes are mainly High Atlas and below, so there's no coverage of the Rif and Middle Atlas. Still an excellent read though.

Got my copy in the post this morning, having pre-ordered. I notice that one of the contributors to the book was you Tim. :thumb
