I am up for this have some time free april may time looking to ride r1200gs adventure. So keep the thread updated as soon as you get outline dates basic method / route to get to morocco. I will watch thread.

Hope others responding to this thread did better than me. What is the point in asking if people are interested and never sending a bloody response. For the record my interest via this thread is zero. If the person who started the thread can't even respond to those showing interest there is a fat chance of him organizing the actual trip!

I'm really sorry, but for the reasons you can see here, this trip won't be going ahead in the form planned - at least not with me.

Maybe someone else can pick up the baton, but I've got some other stuff to deal with.

rough itinery is leave plymouth sunday 17th april to santander,couple of days through spain.7 or 8 days in maroc back through spain and santander to ports mouth on monday 2nd may.never been to maroc before so an adventure for me.not making too many plans just booking the boats to and from blighty. ps. i will have to start reading the maroc section of the site. j

Andalucia assistance route

From Santander to Quesada/Cazorla villages it's a 7 hour ride so if you wanted to stay the night at a hotel here I could advise or help you book one. The following day I'd be happy to guide you all over the altiplano via some of the most scenic and best suited trails for GS's down towards the coast. The A & B road route is also a good alternative and would take 3 hours.

I know, sounds like just the kind of dummy spitting you want on a ride. My advice would be to not wait for spoon feeding, but organise it yourself.
