This is my 4th visit to Morroco and we have always headed south but on this trip we have only 7 days and we are thinking of exploring the NE coast line and if possible venturing into Algeria. Any info would be good and would it be difficult getting into Algeria?

Hi, can you give me some kind of 'itinerary' for doing Morocco in 7 days, would love to do it later in the year and with time and money tight, this would be ideal - BUT - is it feasible without it becoming an out and out slog.

You can't cross into Algeria, but there's a lot to see and do in the north of the country. You could enter via Tanger/Ceuta and make Chefchaouen your first stop for a couple of nights, then head east to Al Hoceima, south to Taza, carry on south on the R507, then loop west on the R504 to Sefrou.

Posts #3 and #4 on this thread have some pics of Al Hoceima, posts #6 and #8 have some pics of Chefchaouen and Taza.

Taza to Sefrou route pics here.
