MoT and a Y piece

My second hand 1200 has no catalytic convertor but a Y piece. Sounds nice but is it going to be a problem when the first MoT is due - emissions etc? As it's 2nd hand I was not involved when the Y piece was put in so haven't got the cat.

AFAIK they don't test emisions on bike MOT's, yet.

Ive never had a problem with mot's and y pieces.
