MOT Fail ?

will a bike fail mot if a tyre has a plug fitted ?

The mot tyre check is for tread depth, tread condition and sidewall condition. I figure that a plug in the treaded area would be down to tester discretion.

Dunno what your tester is like, but the one I use is friendly and I ask him up front about anything I'm not sure of, he shows me his testers book of words an we figure it out before he starts. Worth a try ?
