i'm thinking of getting a remus y piece and end can for my 1150 gsa (05)as this seems to be so popular to improve mid range grunt but, will this affect the bike for the mot when its due i.e. emissions, not noise. do they check emissions on a bike? been so long since i've had to have one????

They don't check emissions at the moment, and noise is down to the discretion of the tester.

Wot Steve said....as long as your exhaust isn`t marked 'Not For Road Use' or similar you`ll be ok.

Actually, it has to be stamped as approved rather than not marked as 'Not for Road Use' (or 'For Road Use' as the straight through cans on my Blackbird were once I had taken a suitable file to the 'Not').
