There now follows a public service announcement:
I've just had an 'interesting' afternoon fitting a set of SW Motech engine bars to my Bos exhaust equiped GS, mmmmmmm
For those of you considering doing the same, in case you weren't aware, the Bos header pipes are quite a lot fatter than the standars BMW ones............
Initially I really didn't think there was going to be enough clearance between the r/h header and the engine bar, however, after loosening the whole exhaust system and the judicious use of a rubber mallet
it is possible to get (just) enough clearance (Clarance)
Just thought anybody attempting same might like to know......
