Motech engine bars

Just unpacked these. Look simple enough to fit (when i can get my hands on a M12 Torque socket wrench)
One question though, when you remove the said bolt from the frame thingy, is it wise to support the bike under the bash plate or am I being paranoid?
Seem to remember when I fitted H and B's on my 1150 I had to do this.

I've had mine on and off the bike several times (you need to take them off to remove the rocker covers) and have never had to support the bike underneath.

Ordered my Motech bars from Nippy Norman, arrieved a week ago, £109 to my door in Spain (well post office 5 mins away) , fantastic, thank you Nippy.
Easiest way is to undo only one side at a time without support, then the other side supports the rear frame.
