Supplementary Regulations
1. Organisation: The Moth Ball Rally is held under permit 09/TBA/Enduro issued by Motor Cycling Ireland (Motor Cycle Union of Ireland S.C. Ltd).

2. The event is a hotel-based, social, motorcycle-rally being organised with the object of assembling a number of tourists at a point fixed in advance. There will be no results and a compitation licence is not required. The routes are suitable for all road going Trail Bikes.
3. Vehicles: This is a motorcycle rally and therefore all participants are expected to drive their motorcycles from their home to the event. All types of small/large trailies/dulesports motorcycles authorised by road traffic regulations may participate.
4. Starting location: The start will be from the Snailbox pub on the Slane Road. Lunch available and start any time you like.
5. Sign-On: Sign on will be in the Milford Inn Hotel on the Friday evening.
6. Accommodation: It is up to each individual rider to arrange their own accommodation. Details of the Hotel being used are:
Friday 2nd October: Milford Inn Hotel, Milford Co. Donegal. Ph: +353749153313. €45pps.

7. Entries: This event is open to all club members and invited friends. Participants must enter using the Rally entry form or photocopies of same. The Entry fee of €20 can be paid in to Allan Leckie on the Friday night in the hotel.
8. The Organisers reserve the right to accept or reject entry applications. Participation is at the discretion of the organiser.
9. Awards: Not traditionally presented and remain at the Organisers’ discretion.
10. Departures & Routes: Recommended routes for the trip will be made available by email, just send a mail to Allan Leckie at
[email protected] letting him know Garmin model info & map release number. The Saturday route will be made available as a GPS download on Friday evening in the hotel.
11. Objections: Any objections shall be submitted in writing in accordance with the terms and limitations set forth in the FIM Code and MCUI GCRs.
12. Protection of the Environment: FIM Environment Code: Individual motorcyclists should develop riding habits to ensure full integration with other types of road users - Ride safely and avoid aggressive and competitive riding - Save petrol and reduce pollution by avoiding unnecessary idling of engines - Ride politely and limit noise pollution by using your horn only in an emergency - Noise annoys - Use a standard or another quiet exhaust system and keep audio systems at a low level - Use only routes that are legally available to motorcyclists - Ride like a professional by riding at a quiet and unobtrusive pace when riding in groups - Respect nature by not travelling on routes that risk being damaged beyond a point of natural recovery - Protect wildlife and its natural habitat by riding intelligently - Take responsibility for ensuring that your used oil, tyres, batteries and other recyclable items are properly recycled - Encourage fuel efficiency and space economy by riding motorcycles instead of driving automobiles.
