Moto Central - New Website

Hi all,

We launched our new website last week (using shopify now instead of magento) - it's loads cleaner, has tons more features and we're still working on a lot of things to clean it all up. It's allowed us to add pre orders for new 2025 products and list them whereas before we couldn't, I can now go on there and change anything I need to easily where magento is a bit of a pig to work on.

Anyways, it come to my attention today that we hadn't added the UKGSER discount code back onto the website when we switched so this has now been done so apologies if this was somthing you'd tried to do in the past week unsuccessfully.

Main new features: Klarna pay in 3, Pre Orders, overlays on product images showing main features, much sleaker look, new checkout, VAT is removed from intercoms with the purchase of a new helmet, live chat + tons more.

Any issues with the site / reccomendations please let me know.

Bought something a month ago, thought it would be a good idea to setup a login. But to be honest, the account setting up was rubbish, password was all messed up and when I contacted MotoCentral, the person I spoke too, just said password reset doesn't work. So hope your new website works better and if you allow punters to setup an account it works as it should. Won't stop me using you, but wasted a bit of time trying to sort out the password issues.

That was most likely me you spoke to, that's one of the many reasons we changed our website over, the last one has some really annoying clunky issues we just couldn't fix. The new website allows you to make a user and everytime you need to log in it'll e-Mail you a code so there's no requirement for a password as such. Looks to be working but if you notice any problems please feel free to report it to me regarding this and I'll make sure it's fixed.

How about merging all your various sites (like Throttle Chimp etc) into one? Always had a good experience from you guys online and in the shop

Motocentral and Motosuperstore are seperated for 2 reasons really. Motocentral is more shop focused and Motosuperstore is more online focused - generally parts etc take a week or so for delivery. We're also trying not to overload one website with too many projects and slow it down massively.

Throttlechimp is s seperate business - it was partly a tester for us making a shopify website so we could take motocentral off magento and it's also used as a different way for us to advertise.

We've just set up a film studio so next year we're going to give that a go so you'll probably see some video content from us in the coming 12 months online too.
