Moto Guzzi Day - 8 July - British Motor Museum Coventry

Sorry we didn't see you Barak. What were you riding?

Old Rat did indeed leave his 'yellow shitter' at home, and came on his silver shitter instead :D - pics below.

Baldrick probably solved a mechanical issue on a 1400 Cali that was defeating MSC Nottingham's workshop, and I fell in love with an Ambassador.
It did indeed rain a bit, but nothing like the very gloomy forecast which, unfortunately, probably kept a few away.

You are not the only one to fall in love with that Ambassador Paul, it was a beaut.

Great to see you and Balders again. Now I’m looking for the ultimate adventure accessory… the umbrella holder. Nice one Paul 🤣

Sorry Barak, I missed meeting you too.

Washing day today, and all the road grime now gone, and the cafe racer is back to being shiney again.

I was riding the V85 that was parked in front of the marquee - just about see it & me in one of your Ambassador shots...

Oldrat your cafe racer is stunning... - kudos for taking it out in the poor conditions.... (y)

Miffed I didn't make this in the end, had family things happening that conspired against me. Next time.

Me also.

Let’s arrange a ukgs v85 ride out

So sorry I missed you.

Thanks, but I did cheat a bit. I bunged the bike in me van and drove up from London to near Bicester way.

I was really looking forward to a ride out but with thunder and lightning warnings, I figured that I could ride the shorter distance there and back between showers.

So a bit of a wuss really but it is a bugger to keep my “shiney shitter” (as Baldrick calls it) clean!
