No mate, it is plug and play, the socket is under the seat, remove the blank, plug in and it will register on the dash menu ready to go.

Unlike the heated grips, the seat is NUCLEAR on the highest heat setting .

Free bump , I would have bought it if I hadn't already spent £250 over the winter on one. The seat does make a difference regarding comfort and the heating on the highest setting is "BRUTALLY TOASTY"

They should employ the seatr heating guy on the heated grips production

I've got one of those on my Stelvio. The extra (slight) height is a big improvement on comfort . Bargain for someone
