Having moved from Spain fo France , I am trying to get the certificate of conformity for my 07 1200GSA to get it on to French plates , I have received a form from BMW France to fill in to apply for this certificate from them and there are two boxes I cannot fill in -
"Numero de motor " 8 characters and "type du motor" 5 characters
the engine number stamped on the r/h clinder is 13 characters and the type could be R25 variant 0382 or G/12 2E D neither of which are 5 characters
any one know what I am looking for either on the bike or the original spanish paperwork ?
I have emaild BMW France but still waiting a reply
