Motorbike parking at Southampton port

Hi there

On the 4th of July I am taking a cruise from Southampton to Norway for the week. I am going to drive down to the port and have been searching for the best place to park the bike for the week.

Can anyone recommend a location for me? There are lots of services for car parking, but I can't find many that mention motorbikes.

Is the cruise ship returning to Southampton?, if so then speak with he Port security and they will be able to advise you where you can park, there are loads of places in the port and the port is all covered by security. If not and you need to park away from the port theres no real secure bike parks, I would be more inclined to leave in on the Town Quay, its a busy area covered by CCTV and there is a bike park on there and its a short distance from the Cruise ship terminals. There are several cruise ship terminals through the docks, which one are you going from?

whoever you are sailing with they usually have dedicated parking speak to the particular allocated car park people im certain they will allocate you a space its often onsite dockside parking with security . I wouldnt leave it in town anywhere. Imo

If you want someone to check out any places you do find I could drive by to have a look if you want. Not sure of anywhere I'd like to leave a bike for any length of time but there are specific parking areas inside the port.

I would drop an email to the Grand Harbour Hotel i am sure they will oblige you with secure parking and so close to the cruise terminal
