Best All Rounder - Ducati Multistrada

I was waiting for the Tunnel to France last week, unusually it was quite hot...
I was on my clapped out R100GS.
A guy was looking pissed off, his glam girlfriend (on a Monster) keeping a low profile.
His brand new Ducati Multistrada had just fallen of its centre stand (because of the soft tarmac)
Smashed front brake lever, handguard hanging off, indicators, some fairing damage etc. etc.
The Holiday seemed to be over before it'd begun, as the Ducati was (to him) unrideable.
And this is sold as an 'Adventure Bike' - don't make me laugh
I'd genuinely have kicked my bike over, it wouldn't have hurt it, if it would've saved him the ride back to the Dealer in Godalming, to get it fixed.
That's if they had the parts in stock of course.
These bikes are a joke![]()

A bit like the guy I met at the Docks in Denmark, he was 2 up on his wife's ER6 with a ton of luggage.
His 1200GS was still up in the very north of Norway.....broken.
"Should have kept mine" he said looking at my bike![]()

C'mon, let's get behind it, for the good of the brand.
You're joking, right..?
Get behind the bike not sure about the brand?
................
It's a GS.
C'mon, let's get behind it, for the good of the brand.
..............

Love mine and seeing the plaudits it receives only generates a warm feeling in my man parts......
However
How many other significant launches has there been in the last twelve months?
Not many I'd say, a great bike but its winning awards with nil competition.
Me? I couldn't care less either way.
The KTM is supposed to be pretty good?
