Motorcycle shop in Venice Italy???

Hi there all, i am taking a little trip down to Cape Town from London later this month and prior to reaching Venice (our ferry port to Africa) will be doing about 2500miles in Europe on my existing Battlewings.
I am getting tyres shipped from the Uk (Mitas knobblies) for the Africa leg but desperately need details of some place in Venice where they can be shipped to.
All help is greatly appreciated.

Had a look in your bikes handbooks to see if there's a list of Italian BM dealerships? Or http://www.bmw-motorrad.it/it/it/index.html and then click on service, then service network.

A quick look at my touring database brings up a few BMW dealers in Venice.

Not 100% sure if they're bike or car.

Look up Legnaro, Padova & Mestre Motorsport. They're the nearest 3 to Venice.

I led Seamus to a dealership in Venice in 2008 to find some brake pads, when we arrived it was a car dealership - & closed!

If you plan to come down through the Brenner Pass then you'll have to ride through Verona. Good place for a stop with the Roman Arena to visit, good food and wine. Good night out too.
You can use MOTOVES here which is the local BMW Motorad dealership. I used them on my tour of Europe a month and a half ago when I had ploblems with a noisy chain. They found time for me and were very helpful.

With your new tires get on to the Autostrada Serenissima and you'll be in Venezia (Venice) in just over an hour.
