Looking to buy a trailer that will fit a GSA and a GS side by side. Experience shows that many trailers are fine for smaller bikes. My guess would be go for a 3 bike trailer and use the two outside ones for the GS's
any ideas?

I have an Erde CH175, it fits two GS sized bikes and is still within it's weight limit.

Build your own from kit parts? I am currently working on a 'kneeling' design which will drop the trailer bed for easy loading. There are several styles already being manufactured (look on youtube) Mines cost me £165 for 2x 13'' wheel set, mud guards, indespension axle & drawbar. I expect to shell out around £300 to fully complete. just building to see if I can easily make one - dont really need it

I would be looking for something like these ones listed on this german site www.kochanhaengerwerke.de listed under vehicle carrying trailers (secondhand is best as someone else will have taken the initial hit)

I built a one similar over 15 years ago which works as both a bike carrying and general purpose trailer.

A 8'x4' trailer will easily take 2 GS type bikes or 3 smaller trailies

If you're thinking of building a trailer be aware that it will need to be IVA'd at a cost of £70 nowadays.
Long gone are the days of knocking up a trailer from bits of angle iron or an old caravan.

Axle & drawbar plated up with manufacturer (Alko) & capacity so wll take achance on the top deck

I have a Humbaur H501 two bike trailer. Made in germany.

I have an additional central ramp mounted along the centre , not to facilitate 3 bikes but just to carry a single bike centrally.

It's rated to 750KG and has 14" wheels so is very under stressed, tows beautifully and is lovely quality.

I cannot recommend them enough!
