never asked but the Scotch Corner 'Tea ' stop is good.
My boots were £160 and I can't walk on water but have certainly walked IN water(almost to the boot top) and peat bogs too and feet were still dry.
Brilliant boots double up as walking /motorcycle boots

J & S don't even stock daytona and to be quite frank i doubt if you will find a better price for that boot anywhere locally - £249.99 for a quality boot in my opinion is a good deal

I think Daytonas are the DBs. I have had a pair for 15 years. They ahve been serviced by Daytona twice and come back like new.
£249? A snip for the best boots on the market.

+1 on Altbergs, had 'em for a few years, went and put my
heel through the lining, six months later they weren't waterproof
anymore so went back to Richmond, and they refurbished them
FOC (new liner, new sole) as they weren't convinced it was my
fault that I had put my heel through the lining... now that is service

at a price - but so great boots, soft warm waterproof
AND
if you buy the Bandogs - ready made hill walking /hiking boots to - so more room in the panniers for that extra can or two
