I'm currently looking at the option of changing my TC Triple Black for the new one and being offered options on some new stock by Bahnstormer. What I find frustrating is that the online configurator isn't working so I don't know what the value of keyless ride and quick shift is and therefore what value they effectively add to the Triple Black ..

Can anyone offer me any figures from memory ..

Thanks

the configurator is indeed shit, give the dealer a call as you will never end up paying that price anyway

Yeah why can't BMW sort this configurator thing, it's really shocking, can't believe it's beyond them. I'm guessing they think it's not worth the hassle.
cheers

Hi,i have a 2016 triple black i know its only my opinion but dont bother with keyless you still need key for seat and panniers, also quick shifter is a waste of money on boxer motor you can change smoother with or without clutch,i bet that comment sets people away?? i would try and get a nav 5 instead.:rob

Didn't get keyless because I put my lid in my topbox so you can guess the rest

Didn't think much to shift assist on the test ride but took the risk and got it anyway

No regrets, once you suss how to use it it's excellent :thumb2

Mine goes up and down smoothly even between 1st and 2nd

The online configurator is working now.

+1 on keyless and GSAP, they are great additions.

Thanks for all the replies - the bikes being offered are pre-fitted with keyless and quick shifter so I've no real choice but I will be pushing for a Nav V and a bit more if they really want the business.

Must learn to walk away if the deals not right - failed twice so far ! :nenau

Keyless and the Vario topcase - you can't leave the key in the lock when you open the lid because the fob is too wide to allow the handle to come down. What idiot designed that? I only got one so I could have an alarm I could arm/disarm with the fob. I think its a total waste of time. Central locking on the K1600 makes more sense.
Back on topic - there were some glitches with the configurator but it seems to work for me? Triple black with keyless and gasp is GSA £16760, GS £15,750.
