Had my 6k service recently done at Motorrad Central.
All was fine although I was hoping the valve clearance adjustment and tb balance etc would smooth the vibes out a wee bit on my twin cam GSA.
Was still a tad vibey at 4500rpm so I phoned them up to see if I could drop it by for a quick check.
I explained that I was a bit pushed for time so instead they offered to send the van over to Glasgow to pick it up, keep it for a couple of days to get it checked out and deliver it back to me. As it turned out all was normal and two separate mechanics agreed that the vibes were perfectly normal on the twin cam.
A recent 600 mile round trip to Yorkshire was a pleasure and the vibes are fine.
Anyway, for the guys to come over and pick my bike up and re deliver it is brilliant customer service.
Will be taking it there in future for all its services.
Big thanks to Tony and Joe.
I've no connection to them but like to let people know if someone offers a good service and does a good job.

Cheers
Kev

:thumb +1 They sent a van up to Invergordon collected my 1150GSA that the now closed Bishopbriggs motorad had made an arse of, fixed it correctly and brought it back!:beerjug:

Is this normal ie do they do it as part of their service ? I live in Alness and would prefer they serviced my bike too.

+1 for the lads at Dalkeith Was in getting service for the forthcoming Alaska road trip Road trip n knowing that sometimes the gsa get,s tired out on a long run and likes a "a wee lie doon" :augie i was asking how the brake and clutch lever mechanisim is dismantled and re assembled. The chap says here take this full assembly with you and you can return it when you are home
Above and beyond:thumb2

I wouldn't imagine it is normal service but there is no harm in asking them.
Even if they charge a bit for delivery it would save a lot of hassle.

I travel 160 miles to Dalkeith to get my GSA serviced, always done right first time. If you pitch up on a Saturday Joe will even buy you a bacon egg and mushroom roll with hash browns for your breakfast and as much coffee as you can drink. Cheers Joe:thumb

Just been down from Shetland for service. Always go there, had 5 new bikes and service has been spot on. When I bought my first bike from them Tracy came to the airport and picked me up. All the staff are first class (pity about the windmills).:beerjug:

Another +1 for MCE , good bunch & never had an issue in 4 bike's,
3 bought there, 1 just serviced.
