Hi folks, I have a BMW Motorrad Navigator 111 fitted to a 1200 Adventure, the unit is mounted on the top screen mount bar.
I'm struggling to see the display mainly because the unit does not seem bright enough, i have adjusted the unit to it's highest brightness setting.
Is this a common problem or is there a after market glare sheild that may help

Common problem.

One of these may cure it...

Many thanks for the link.
I think the width is to short for the Motorrad as it measures approx 7" wide,
but many thanks for your help.

There is an ambient light sensor at the back of the Navigator which automatically adjusts the brightness of the display - dim at night, bright in daylight.

Check yours has a clear view ahead through the screen. If it's obstructed it will dim your display to the low night setting.

The sensor is the white circular thingy.
