Motorway ‘blipper’ / smart tags - For ALL news, advice, how to get one and what’s best, irrespective of the country

I’ve tried to get numerous toll tags now and I cannot find one that I can set up with a uk bank account even using iban number.
Does anyone know of a tag provider that will take a uk bank account. Useable in Italy too would be a huge bonus.

What Bank are you using? I had to open an account with Lloyds as my Nationwide just wouldn’t work with Ulys at all.

We use Santander and so far have not found a toll tag company that accepts Santander accounts.
 
I think that Nationwide failed because it was in essence a Building Society, and despite everything that NW said, it didn’t work.
I suspect that Santander is the same.

I just stick £400 into my Lloyds account and it sorts itself out. I get updates from Ulys of how much is owed and when it’ll be taken out, so I add sufficient funds whenever necessary.
 
I use a Fulli Tag linked to a Revolut Card, the good thing with the Revolut Card you can turn of the payment option on the card if you want, and wait until you get the Invoice and a reminder to pay
