Anyone tried the above? They look a similar design (copy?) to the remus but are over 100 quid less...any thoughts?

Any chance you can quantify better please?
I'm looking at Keihan vs Remus vs Akra to go with the Akra can
I had remus headers and akra can combo on a previous GS and it went and sounded pretty good

I'll be open and say I help sell the Keihans. Keihan are exhaust specialists and make complete systems for a lot of older and classic bikes. The Keihans are identical to the OE headers including the balance pipe but obviously minus the CAT. Beautifully made in Redditch with top grade stainless steel, hand welded by Dave and have a 10 year warranty:thumb

They fit will all end cans and crash bars and cost a lot less Remus and Akra.

Sales pitch over and they are lovely headers:thumb

I have a used Akra "race" system (idiotic name) with stacked twin cans. Its a beaut but no way would I have paid full new price. Its got to be fitted as a system because the header outlet isnt the same as the standard pipes.

I mention this to say make sure you get something compatible with the standard headers. I'm sure @Sgt Bilco's suggestion will be perfect (and British made). Some options might not.

Also read the stuff about inlet air temperature spoofing so you can in effect adjust the cylinder mixture. A simple connector cable is only about £30 or make your own adjustable type.

Thanks for that.
I noticed they have the connecting pipe which the Remus doesn't.
I thought it a bit strange Motorworks have them for sale cheaper than the Keihan site. Do they do GSer discount?
