Having snapped the gearchange adjustment extension piece from my footpeg lowering kit, in a ham-fisted stylee :cockeye :banghead: :tosser :hammer :stupid , one call to Motorworks and they made a replacement in the workshop and it's already in the post.
Happy bunny :thumb :D
More from them I think. (I'll try not to break the next one  ......)

Hi Phil,

Honesttogod my thread was purely coincidence! If I'd wanted to defend MW from your comments I'd have posted a reply direct to your thread, rather than start a new one on the same subject. All I can say is that they've been OK with me so far. So who is James Sherlock?

James Sherlock is a guy - mid 40's - who started up on his own breaking BMW's in his parents back yard Nr Barnstaple.
He's a thoroughly good chap even though i've only dealt with him once 15 years ago and once last weekend.
He's now built the business up and operates out of a Largish place in South Molton, 'twixt barnstable and Tiverton - which incidentally has one of the best riding roads around between the two.

I went there last Saturday and he's now got a breakers, workshops, new,old bikes, showroom and tea/coffee room.

i was just impressed with the whole thing - and i'm certainly not easily impressed.

website here : http://www.james-sherlock.co.uk

i'd recommend getting a catalogue at least - there are more choices than just Motorworks

No affiliation etc - just good service

Phil
