There's still lots of bits for dirt bikes that are hard to get in the UK, but buying from the US means hassle and the £15 handling fee from the thieving gits at the post office, plus a random charge HMRC for a package that could languish in their hands for weeks.
This site (www.motosport.com) has an easy way to buy stuff from the US, calculates a very reasonable shipping fee with good delivery, and they have really good customer service - I had a problem with a recent order and they didn't quibble about refunding the item plus shipping, plus gave me free shipping on the replacement.
Highly recommend - really for dirt bike stuff only, though
