motronic resetting

Hello all got a question my r1150rt not had a battery all week as the last one died on me when I fit the new one would I have to reset the motronic again ?

If battery disconnected completely then motronic should already be reset ....?

thought you had to take fues 5 out and turn the throttle 3x times every time you know when a new battery is fitted

Either disconnecting the batter OR fuse 5 for 10 minutes resets the Motronic.

Then you have to turn the key on, rotate the throttle fully twice, and turn the key off. Your bike will take a couple tanks of fuel to relearn its adaptive fueling values.
