Mouloud in Marocco

Anyone know anything about the "Mouloud" in Marocco, it's a big Islamic festival in April while we're there?

I thought Mouloud (Prophet's birthday) was in June, however there's a mention of it being in April under 'wax lantern' on this site: http://www.travel-tomorocco.com/festivals.php

Islamic New Year was April 8th (2005), dunno if it moves around though.

They move according to the lunar calender, last year it was on the 21st of April, this year on the 11th.

It's Morocco - if you spell it Marocco when filling in the forms at the border, they'll lock you up

It was a joke, which you'll appreciate when you reach the border -

You can get insurance at the border ( just another queue to stand in), but you've no need to, if your insurance certificate has the magic word " Marocco" somewhere in it
