Very good article. I've helped out on some rescues in the past, just from being in the right place at the right time and would never hesitate to help again. Spent a night helping bring an injured climber off Crib Goch in a blizzard, roping his stretcher down the mountain. If I lived closer to the hills I'd certainly want to be a part of the team, but we don't have much in the way of mountains near London.
