Mounting a 2610 to BMW 1200C

Hi All

A friend of mine has a BMW 1200C which he is thinking of adding a Garmin 2610 onto.

Does anyone out there know of someone who has done this or have any suggestion of the best /most appropriate mounting kit to use?

I'm assuming some kind of ram mount, but appreciate any words of wisdom that you might have.

If it has the same clock shroud as the GS Migsels job is th one to go for with appropriate ram arm/diamond base and Cradle.

Suggest a look at http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/bike-mount14.htm
Tony Clarke has a K1200RS and fitting was awkward and he used some RAM parts and you can read how he did it.

... Ok he has a PDA, but still the same mounting problem....

A quick look at the Cycoactive pic gallery (BMW mount gallery) is also worth a look for ideas.

The RAM-HOL-GA9 cradle holds a 2610 or, if using the Garmin mount then add either RAM-B-202 or RAM-B-238 to attach onto.
