Mounting a zumo 660

I have to admit Im finding it difficult to know the best way of mounting this I want it in the black plastic mount can anyone give me a link or part number and where to buy from. I want it to mount on the black bar near the screen

If your bike has been prewired for sat nav it will fit perfectly in the mount already on the bike.
If not the ram mount that comes with the zumo is fine, just connect direct to the battery and job done.

I just looked at my Adventure, that bracket fits on the bar behind the screen. The you also need a set of screws/spacers that are number 5 on this diagram:

Thanks for the pic but on the 2013 bar is smaller 8mm so don't think that will work

You can buy it in parts from a motorrad dealer and mount the 660 electrics into the bmw plastic housing,
I bought a bare housing s/ hand and added the lock, all parts are available,

Is this correct? A dealer suggested the preinstalled mounting (with lock) is not compatible with a Zumo 660?

Yes it is correct the 660 will fit the BMW housing although the functions from the left side handlebar wheel controller don't work with the Zumo only with the BMW Nav 4 & 5, your dealer is either a numpty or is working on his sales commission

What about an Alder Enterprises Sat' Nav' mount? (Solid piece of kit)
