Mounting Autocom/Zumo on F650GS

Any tips on how to do this - where to put the box and where to get the power feed from. I'm also mounting a Zumo 550 and was planning to wire this direct to the battery with the supplied fused cable - any reason why I shouldn't do this?

Zumo wise ive never done one on the 650 before as they are a fairly rare bike with us.

Comms wise the main control unit can be fitted under the seat, power wise the live is taken off the tail light (grey and black wire) the earth is then taken direct to the battery.

Wiring direct to battery even with a fuse makes the system live all of the time so you would have a flat battery fairly soon. This is why we say do not wire direct to the battery within our instructions.
