mounting nippy normans 119 db horn

I can't see where this horn is going to mount around where the stock horn is!!

No issues at all in wiring it up just can't see where it supposed to fit.

Anybody done this and can post up a mounting pic?

If you look on the NN site, under 'reviews' there are fitting details. I've just fitted a Mini-blaster in 5 minutes, but took another 15 mins bending the bracket so it cleared the forks on hard lock.

This is the FIAMM Master Blaster and when I looked yesterday before going to work I didn't see how it was going to fit.

Will have another look today with fresh eyes as Mark Hootan has made it fit Im sure so it can be done.

Why don't you ask NN if you can swop it for a Fiamm Mini-blaster ( 115d), that's what I've just fitted and it clears the ESA and forks on full lock if you bend the bracket. Alan

I have emailed them about it but if it can work im willing to keep trying a few more times yet.
There must be others that have had the same issue and over come it?

My horn seems bigger than yours and doesn't look right in this position plus I have a bracket for my hid lighting so mounting here makes it look cluttered. I have found a space underneath the stock horn space that I'm going to use but need to fab a bracket to suite. Will post some pics when it's done ��

And your point? The horn is where it ought to be, pointing towards the front, obscured by nothing and out of harms way, the pictures were taken by me crouching at a low angle and is less visible when viewed when standing up........but there will always be someone to criticise whatever you do and not actually show some thing constructive themselves.........

Fitted their 139db nautilus on my 09 with ESA

Had to use a combination of extension bracket and a couple of cable ties to stop it working loose and to keep it away from the forks on full lock.

Yeah I've found a little space where it will go under the stock horn position and I'll fix it with a mixture of bracket and ties. Any chance of posting up a pic bud so I can get a look? ��

Spent an hour tonight getting the horn mounted in the space. Fairly happy with how its fixed

Mounted the relay under one of the front fairings and got it working just need to run the + from the battery to the relay and job done

Will post up pictures once im finished

Sound like we found the same space.... Only 10mm each way the play with, hence the ties..... I guess you don't need a pic now
