Mounting sumo 550 to wrasse rheas

Anyone got /seen good gps mount for sumo on new gs?

Yes, one on my bike is supplied by BMW and is lockable with bikes ignition key. Works well.

Haven't seen a 550 mounted to an LC yet!

Have now ordered a TE but still hope to use my Zumo 550! Hope I can mount it ok to the cross bar?

Does the new model have the same plug you can use for the ignition feed using the lead from nippy Norman?

Got one on my TE. Uses usual plug, just unplug wiring for the nav iv and plug in your 550 lead. Then use the rear of the nav iv mount to fix your 550 mount on.
But
To get it fitting so I could see the instruments I had to position it far to the left on the mounting bar and dremelled out a bit of the mount so it's partially on the curve of the top left part of the bar. And I needed longer screws..... Otherwise fine

To get it over there you need to scallop out the rear mounting plate about 10mm

My Zumo 550 is now fitted to my bike I got a new bracket from Italy of eBay for 40 euros, happy with it so the 550 will be staying for a while.
