I've got one of those kits that lets ewe put your topbox on the pillion seat, but I don't have the destructions :nenau and being shite at jigsaws and trying to guess what to do, is there anyone out there in GS land that can give me a few pointers. Or is it a case of going in the garage and telling SWMBO to keep out for a couple of days,:spitfire:spitfire
I've looked in the GS fact file, no joy there.
Cheers in advance :thumb

Cheers for that JFC, seen that thread, I was hoping for an Engrish type explanation.
I had looked at those sausage istructions B4, and have only just clicked :blast:blast that the plate in the picture, is actually the top box plate upside down, all I have to do now is take all the back rack off and figure the rest out  May just leave the fecking topbox where it is, and stop trying to be a flash twat :augie

LOL thats cheered me up a bit.
GSmonkey did a walkthrough I sem to remember, it was some time ago so may have been deleted but worth a search

Ive done it and it is a head scratcher but persevere,
The good news is it looks much better than having a microwave oven sitting on the back, the bad news is its a bastard to get your leg over............................that came out wrong but you get the drift :thumb

....I think I did, but I can't remember when.

Job done cheers
just do what it says on the tin really :thumb couldn't be simpler, now all I have to do, is retrieve the washer that the rear light cluster sucked into it :blast and find a little cubby hole to fit all the bits of GS, that left over!

Hi This is exactly what I want to do with my BMW top box. What is the part number of the plate that I need so I can get the local dealer to order it up for me???

TA:thumb2

There is no plate you need as such. You actually use the top box plate, then order the extra pieces to transform the top box plate into a rear seat carrier from BMW, sorry but I cannot find the Part Number in my folder but I'm sure your dealer should Know it. As a last resort open the link on this thread and tell him the German name for it! :augie
