I was one of the folk who bought a bargain 64gb Playbook 2 or 3 years ago. It gathers dust since I bought an iPad and Blackberry did away with movies on Blackberry World. I'm banned from downloading freebie movies from torrent sites after twice having to get my laptop cleaned thanks to Trojan viruses.
Anyway, I want to buy a few movies to fill my Playbook and take offshore with me. Wifi on my rig is shite so downloading or streaming isn't an option there. I need it on the device. Obviously, my 16gb iPad can do this but I get about one movie on that particular device which isn't ideal for a 14 day trip in the wilds of the North Sea.
I was recommended to try Sony Entertainment and Google World to purchase movies. I did a cheap movie purchase today as a tester from Sony but can't view the fecking thing on my Blackbery. I'm being prompted to connect my device but when I click on this, Sony Playstations and Sony tablets are the only options I can see.
I haven't tried Google yet.
Can any of you kind people help?
