Moving a modem??

I am about to move my pc into the spare room, I will need to extend the "supply" cable to the modem.I am Telewest broadband.What sort of cable will I need ?is it just co axial?

Assuming a Telewest cable modem then yes, the input to the modem is coaxial.

However, if the connection to your PC from the modem is via an ethernet cable (i.e. not USB) then leave the modem where it is and extend the ethernet cable or come into the 21st century and go wireless.
