Moving to Sweden, the long way...

We arrived in Delsbo at Rebecka’s parents and will be here for the next couple of weeks, working out our route and plans for the next section of the trip. For now here is a lot of pictures. We will prepare the car into a semi-camper, before setting off to Russia, we think we will be leaving sweden around 12/06/2013, so not many updates until then. A little bit strange how we are not driving and to be honest I feel like I should be heading home...

Anyway, picture dump from the rest of Sweden and Norway;

Volvo Museum in Gothenburg, well worth the visit and some of my favorites;

Into Norway, norway was expensive as hell, as expected, I was shocked still, but we still spent too much money for our budget. Parking in Oslo and the hotel was nearly £200.00 for one night. Ouch, nearly a weeks budget in Mongolia.

But the view from the room wasn't too bad.

Yes it was still bloodly cold!

Norway was full of tunnels and bridges, the longest was a huge 25km tunnel.

Didn't get many pictures at Bergen as was very busy, but enjoyable and strange.

Today we are setting off again from Sweden, we are heading up to Finland, the Arctic Circle and Lapland, then heading down to Russia. We enter Russia on Monday. Starting to get real now. Some real writing should come with the pictures from now on.

Hopefully will get more interesting now...

Sure you won't be envious of the smell of feet in the car already. :blast Didn't think of ventilation in such a small place.

A few troubles is good, agree... makes it exciting. :thumb2

Plus I get to see Santa tomorrow...

I slightly disagree and hope you do have a few troubles, it's what makes an adventure but good luck:beerjug:

Must have jinxed us, not had a great few days... :blast

So, having some bad luck with the car at the moment, meaning at the moment we have left Russia and returned to Sweden, we took excited back into finland and took the ferry to Stockholm while we work out what to do. Didn’t expect the car to have so many issues after just a few hours on relatively good Russian roads.

1. Rear right indicator no longer working, some short in the circuit somewere, can’t seem to fix.

2. Airbag light came on from wire becoming lose, now fixed

3. The big one, our fuel lines have split / corroded in multiple places, turned from a small leak to dumping the tank off diesel all over the floor. Not good. Unsure what to do now.
