Hi,

I've got a Zumo 500 and run it with a Autocom Active Duo.
At the moment i have my music stored on a sd card then used in the Zumo.

My question is - Is it possible to get a lead to plug into the Autocom so that i'm able to use an ipod instead of the Zumo for my music?

If so will this cause lower music levels or lower levels from the voice prompts on the Zumo?

Hope this makes sense?

Yes indeed.

Can you let us know what cables you are using to connect the Zumo to the Autocom at the moment.

My first thought is that you can use a part 1307 or 1308 to connect the iPod into the Aux 2 port of your 200.

I'm a bit crap at this, i'm using the 2 leads that came with the Zumo?

I've try'd the mp3 lead that came with the Autocom but the volume is low.
As the zumo audio lead is now in the hole the Mp3 should go in.

Does this make sense?

Assuming you want stereo music from the Zumo and from the iPod, and you don't want to use a mobile phone on the move, then the simplest thing option is just to mix the music and the GPS signal and have the GPS set louder than the music so that you are at least aware that you have to look at the zumo map.
Buy a lead 1317 and a second stereo music lead 1307. Using the exisiting stereo lead, plug the Zumo in port A of the 1317 and the iPod into port B of the 1317 and plug the 1317 into Aux2 on the Autocom.
Before doing the above and providing Aux1 is not powered, you could try plugging the phone lead from the zumo into Aux 1 and see what happens. It won't be any use for phone calls but you might get some sound. if Aux1 is powered check with Autocom first.
You are aware that the Zumo has two sets of volume controls, one of which only becomes active when it is in the cradle.
