Mpeg4 to Mp3?

This converts anything - but as tooned says - i don't think you can convert mp4 to mp3 - unless you want the audio track from it.

If this is about video clips from mobile phone, mine has option to record in either mpeg4 or wav. I gave up on mpeg4 cos I could not play it in pc.

All the tracks in my itunes are MPEG4, I wanted to convert some to MP3 files. Apparently, the player in my womans new motor will only play MP3 files which names must have the ending 'MP3'?

I want to copy the some music onto a 2GB SD card which can then be played in the car.

I guess that Apple would be able to offer a suitable converter, since they seem to be the ones to have gone for this level of compression.

I had a similar problem converting audio files from MPEG4 to MP3. Click on the link below:

Basically you just need dbpoweramp. You will also need to download an additional CODEC (also from dbpoweramp) as mentioned in the link above.

DD, You could try exporting your itunes to another location on your computer, then re-importing them. Change the preferences in the edit menu first to mp3 in the import section then, when you re-import they should be changed to mp3.
